Abstract

Calculates the buckling combination of axial load and lateral force, energy barrier and post-buckling deflection depending on the axial load parameter, estimates knock down factor (KDF) for design buckling load. The underlying analytical model and energy barrier criterion for design buckling load estimation is developed in the following research papers: doi.org/10.1016/j.tws.2021.108261 and doi.org/10.1016/j.tws.2019.04.039.
